Interviews are the worst, there isn’t a single nice thing about them!
–
The questions fly
one
after
the other
not
a
single
pause
–
The bees
buzz
The butterflies
flutter
–
I sit
smiling
stumbling
spewing
words
–
Hoping
the passion
might peek through
You are right, interviews are the worst. It is never comfortable to be in the position of being judged.
I wish there was another way!! Thanks for stopping by and reading!
Interviews are the worst when you are wanting that job so badly. It’s a totally different vibe when you don’t really need the job, but are just trying to determine if you want to be there. I hope you have more of the second type than the first.
You are right, Elsie! They are absolutely the worst when you are applying for your dream job.
Now that I have the job, I feel like maybe they aren’t so bad! I guess my passion peeked through after all! Thanks as always for reading.
Haha I can relate! I just did an interview (and my first sample teaching lesson), and it is always awkward. You feel like you are display. I completely get your poem.
I am glad you can relate Andrea. I hope that your sample teaching lesson was a success!
That is amazing…you have captured the experience!
I agree, I hope and pray the passions speaks louder than words!
Thank you so much! It turns out they did 😀
Thanks for stopping by!
Your passion surely peeks through…you’re that kind of person! 🙂
